Pictured above is the control center of a Titan Missile site. This site is now operated as the Titan Missile Museum located just south of Tuscon, Arizona.
PSM-6 Multimeters were used by technicians who worked in this site (and others like this one) during the cold war era. The museum displays a donated PSM-6 atop the right electronics cabinet.

The AN/PSM-6 was (and remains) perhaps the most rugged analog multimeter ever manufactured.

The handle retracts and the cover fastens to the base with three heavy duty clasps for carryng or storage.
A large 3 inch meter face is easily visable from across the room.
